Systemic Poverty: The Degenerative Cycle
The degenerative cycle is a system that turns people into consumables.
The 5 tactics that profit from poverty and the cycles that underlies it are:
Alienation - Identify people to target for exploitation.
Rationalization - Manipulating society's constructs to justify attitude and behavior towards those alienated;
Exploitation - The targeted group, through official and unofficial actions, are stripped of value and power.
Automation - Creating policies, protocols and proxies that validate and automate exploitation of targeted groups by removing the need for human or emotional involvement.
Socialization - Rewriting the rules of society - including its institutions, culture and legal structure - to normalize human disregard and social cannibalism.
Alienation = Under-Compensation
To pay salaries below what it takes for a full-time worker to survive. Includes supporting wage and equity theft, and/or inequitable benefits across workers.
Also, the unintentional disqualification of diverse/out-of-the-box candidates through old-school “fit-the-box” hiring portals.
Rationalization = Economic Impairment
Using fair-appearing, pseudo-objective instruments to discourage and disqualify less affluent candidates from services that they could use to make their lives more sustainable.
Exploitation = Opportunistic Overcharging
Unjustified higher prices, higher interest, and added fees, for people who can least afford it.
Automation = Rent-Seeking
This is the process of extracting revenue from society by trapping people in (and profiting from) debt, and/or removing or controlling ownership opportunities.
Socialization = Social Disinvestment
Involves moving the cost burden of our collective wellbeing (education, retirement, etc.) by shifting it to individuals, most of whom cannot afford it.
Make it stand out.

Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
